RULEBOOK PRIVACY

We collect one thing.

Here’s the thing: your email address, when you hand it over to join the newsletter or sign in to the app, plus whatever a checkout needs when you buy it. Your laps, your videos and your telemetry stay on your machine.

01WHO WE ARE

Paddock Pixel makes a desktop app that syncs your telemetry to your track footage and burns it into the frame. This policy covers the website (paddockpixel.com), the newsletter, and the app itself. Questions, requests, corrections, complaints: [email protected]. A real person reads it.

02WHAT WE COLLECT, AND WHY

Your email address: only when you type it into the signup form. We use it to send the Paddock Pixel newsletter (launch news and updates), and nothing arrives until you click the confirmation link in the first email. We don’t buy lists, and we don’t share yours. Signing in to the app is covered under Your Account below.

Connection data: our host, Cloudflare, sees the usual details any website sees, like your IP address and browser type. We don’t use them to identify you.

A bot check: the signup form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. We only get the result, and we don’t store your IP address.

That’s the whole list. No analytics on this site.

03COOKIES & LOCAL STORAGE

No tracking cookies. The site saves two small settings in your browser, like remembering that you already signed up, and they never leave your device. The bot check may set its own cookie, covered by Cloudflare’s policy below.

04THE NEWSLETTER

Our email provider, Kit, stores the list in the United States and sends the emails. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works instantly. Want your address fully deleted, not just unsubscribed? Email us and it’s done.

05THE APP

This is the part we’re proudest of. Paddock Pixel runs entirely on your machine. Your videos, your telemetry, your rendered output: none of it is uploaded to us or anyone else. No usage analytics, no crash reporting phoning home. Your fastest lap is nobody’s business until you post it.

The app goes online for exactly three things:

If that list ever grows, this policy changes first, and the date at the top moves.

06YOUR ACCOUNT

You sign in to the app with your email address. We email you a one-time code, and you type it into the app. Your account lives with Supabase, and the code emails are sent by Resend. It holds your email address, your plan, and, once you buy, your order details from checkout.

To check your license, the app also sends an identifier for your computer, so your license stays with the machine it’s on. It doesn’t reveal anything about what’s on your computer.

Want the account gone? Email us and it’s deleted.

07BUYING THE APP

When Paddock Pixel goes on sale, checkout and payments will be handled by Lemon Squeezy as the merchant of record, meaning they run the checkout, process the payment, and handle the tax paperwork. Your card number goes to them, never to us; we don’t see or store payment details. What we receive from a purchase is only what’s needed to deliver the product and support you: your email address and the order details.

09YOUR RIGHTS

Wherever you live, you can ask to see, correct, export or delete what we hold about you. Just email [email protected]. In the EU or UK, you can also raise a concern with your local data-protection authority.

10KIDS

The site and the app aren’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data. If one slipped us an email address, tell us and it’s gone.

11CHANGES

If what we collect ever changes, this page changes first and the date at the top moves with it. Anything material gets a mention in the newsletter too. This policy took effect on September 29, 2026.
